Bags-On-Roll
In today’s industrial world, Automation is one of the most-critical approach to sustain: effective cost management & optimised quality and better production outputs.
Under this scope, automation in “FIBC Filling Stations” also became more important for industries and Bags-On-Roll is the right solution for same. Bags-on-Roll (or Roll/Reel-form packed FIBCs) sustains “Zero-Touch” solution to companies.
Bags-On-Roll are mainly used for 1-2 Loop FIBCs (for fertilizers, cement, fish-feed, minerals and many more), however can also apply for 4-loop FIBCs.
Concept :
-
- In conventional method, finished FIBCs are stacked/packed on pallets (wooden/plastic). In this method, folded-FIBCs are placed into bale-press by an operator till reaching number of bags that defined by end-user or producer. In this option, pallets/bales are opened in end-user’s filling station and FIBCs are taken out from the pallet & positioned into filling station by a filling-operator. So, both operations are rely on manpower and needs usage of pallet.
-
- However for Bags-On-Roll, finished FIBCs are packed as Roll/Reel form. Special equipment is used to have this roll form. Number of the bags are varying according to FIBCs physical characteristics (like dimensions, fabric weight, having liner or not etc). Once Bags-On-Roll reached to end-user’s filling station, roll just is fed into Automatic Filling station and all unrolling / placing / filling / sealing operations are done by line itself (Zero Touch).
Advantages of Bags-On-Roll
-
- Eliminated Manpower Cost for FIBC Filling : No need to assign an operator for taking out (from pallet) and positioning of FIBC.
-
- Zero-touch to FIBC : minimized risk of cross-contamination which might be coming from human or environmental contact.
-
- Increased efficiency & speed in filling operation as whole process in managed by automated line.
